Likes to go out on trails. He is quite narrow and feels like a mobile horse despite his measured height. Xrays on file!

As a 3 year old Sir Gregory was the convincing winner of his 30 day test at Neustadt/Dosse, with very high scores in every category,

which gave him the high overall score of 8.85, highest score in the dressage phase of 9.08, and the very good score of 8.35 in the jumping phase.

Sir Gregory has also enjoyed much success in the young dressage horse classes in Germany.  We plan to continue showing Sir Gregory in North America in future.

Sir Gregory is a very modern type stallion, of striking good-looks, with a beautiful head and neck. He has very correct conformation, his gaits are powerful, with a lot of elasticity, very good use of the hind leg, and he already shows a very good ability to collect.  Sir Gregory also has a very good temperament, he is kind, smart and learns quickly, this goes hand and hand with his high rideability.

Sir Gregory has also already had a very high percentage of Premium foals in Oldenburg, and the Gold premium Champion Colt in Zweibrucken this year, who was also the reserve champion foal over all.

Sir Gregory's sire Sir Donnerhall was the 2nd reserve champion at the Oldenburg stallion licensing in 2003, he then went on to win his 70 day test at Adelheidsdorf in 2005 with a dressage index of 163.  In 2005 Sir Donnerhall was named the "Hauptprämien" champion in Oldenburg. In 2006 Sir Donnerhall was the reserve champion at the 2006 World Championships for young dressage horse in Verden, and then was the Bundeschampion for 5 year olds dressage horses in Warendorf, Germany.  In 2008 Sir Donnerhall had the highest index of dressage stallions with 182 points.

Sir Gregory's dam Premiere is also the dam of two State Premium mares, a 2004 approved stallion Don Romio, following Sir Gregory, Premiere has gone on to produce a 2008 licensed stallion sired by Sandro Hit who was also the second highest selling dressage stallion at the stallion auction following the licensing in Oldenburg (second only to the dressage licensing champion).  Premiere's sire is the successful Grand Prix dressage stallion Don Gregory.  Don Gregory was not only a successful dressage competitor but is also a highly sought after sire, he has sired numerous licensed sons, champion stallions, State Premium, Brilliantring and Champion mares, top auction horses, Bundeschampions and World Champions.  In the damline we also find the stallion Picasso who was trained to advanced level dressage, and the top hanoverian stallion Graphit.  There are also approved stallions from this dam line including Don Graphit, Playboy, San Gregory, as well as numerous premium mares and successful performance horses.

Dam: Wakaluba by Warkant

The Celle state stud stallion Warkant, by World Cup out of a Grande mare, was the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year for 2002.

Warkant was born in 1983 on Helga Axhausen’s farm in Schiffdorf near Cuxhaven where his movement was exceptional right from the start. At the age of four days he was noticed by the State Stud Manager and scheduled to join the stallion prospects at the Celle raising farm at Hunnesrück and that’s where he spent his youth where he stood out as the exceptional stallion of the group.

According to Gerd-D Gauger in his tribute to Warkant in The Hannoverian:

“When the shipper from Hunnesrück arrived at the farm of Axhausen, Warkant just hopped on the trailer. His well-balanced, bright temperament is not only a characteristic which remained all through his career as a breeding stallion, but also a characteristic which he passed on to all his offspring. He became the unchallenged champion at the licensing of the stallion prospects from Hunnesrück, a stallion with type and nobility, with excellent lines, prominence and a strong foundation (Pix As xx), a somewhat low neck set (Grande) and – of course – movement (Wöhler).”

Because of an injury, he could not participate at the stallion performance test’s finals. His final result was projected up to 119,20 points. Warkant was the winner of the licensing of the Hunnesrück stallions.

In 1987, he started his breeding career in Beedenbostel. From 1993 to 1998, Warkant was stationed in Celle before he moved to Grethem in 1999.

He was one of the stars of the Celle stallion parades because of his excellent basic gaits and his expressive trot.
