Sire: Cadans M by SIr Donnerhall
Dam: By Eusebio
Izzy was bred in Holland, and maintained by his breeder until his importation to the United States early 2018 as a 5 year old. He is by the stallion Cadans M ( X Sir Donnerhall), out of a Eusebio mare, and registered with KWPN. This boy is as talented as he is eye catching! An old soul in a young horses body with a heart of gold and a will to please. He has a warm a cuddly personality on the ground, looks forward to his work and will meet you at the gate. Under saddle he is honest and hard working, and sensitive while still being sensible. He is not spooky, nor is he dishonest. Izzy has three exceptional gaits that are both comfortable and rhythmic. The canter offers air time as well as jump, the trot possesses suspension along with great activity, and the walk is forward thinking with a nice over reach. His first show was a huge success as he earned blue ribbons, top marks, and a lot of praise from the judges in every class he entered. Izzy scored consistently in the 70's with scores at Training Level of 74.7% and 77%, and scores at First Level of 72% and 75% which was given by top judge Lilo Fore. In addition to an excellent performance he also handled the hustle and bustle of a busy show environment like a gentlemen and a pro. He is currently schooling third level with all the lateral movements including shoulder in and half pass, has a confirmed single change, and has even successfully played with 3 tempi's. Izzy would be an exceptional candidate for the FEI 6 year old tests next year and has the talent to succeed at the FEI levels.
In his debut at 3rd level Izzy scored a 73.4 and a 70% with very high praise from the judges. In his first test he had a double panel of judges and both scored the exact same score of 73.4%. Izzy just placed Reserve Champions in the open 3rd level Championships at Devonwood Equestrian Center the end of September with one judge having him over 74%. The judges had very positive things to say about him. He scored a 9 on one of his walk pirouettes and very high marks on gaits. He was a perfect calm gentleman getting on cold at the venue. We hauled in Friday night and had a 15 minute warm up for our Saturday morning test. No fuss. In the award ceremony Izzy was also a calm perfect proud boy who loves to show off but in a very easy going relaxed way. He has always been a very safe and confident horse.
Izzy will easily be ready for PSG and the Developing PSG test next year. He shows great talent for the Grand Prix with ease of learning all of the movements. He also loves a good hack around the property solo or with a buddy. With his sweet demeanor and pleasing personality Izzy would be well suited to an ambitious AA or JR/YR working with a trainer as well as he has the talent and presence to be a successful partner for a professional. He is healthy and UTD on all routine vet care, has excellent feet, and clean X rays which also included films for both the neck and back at import. A pleasure to have in the barn, easy to handle, and does well in a stall, paddock or pasture alone or with other horses. He loves his grooming time, ties, cross ties, clips, bathes, transports easily and is well behaved for both the vet and farrier. A truly very special horse sure to make someone an exceptional competitive partner!

Izzy is by Cadans M who is by the legendary Sir Donnerhall.
Cadens M is a 2007. 165cm. Dark Brown by Sir Donnerhall x Pion x Elcaro. The KWPN Approved stallion Cadans combines the most successful modern breeding lines for dressage with some of the most established sources of dressage talent in The Netherlands to provide the ideal package for a mare owner seeking a proven genetic source of dressage talent.
Cadans’ sire the Reserve World Champion Young Dressage Horse and Bundeschampion of 2006 Sir Donnerhall , has been described as one of the ‘Top Young Guns’ of dressage breeding is currently top of the FB list of breeding stallions with a breeding value of 171 already to his name. With a pedigree that includes close up both Sandro Hit and Donnerhall who was for many years the undisputed champion of the WBFSH Stallion lists – not only through his own great international success under saddle but also through those of his many internationally successful progeny – his top gun status is becoming increasingly obvious as time goes by, With and 70 graded sons and many successful representatives in Young Horses classes already to his name he is clearly following in the footsteps of Sandro Hit whose graded sons now number over 90 worldwide and whose position in the top 5 list of dressage stallions seems assured for years to come.
Even with Donnerhall still holding his own in the WBFSH lists (he is currently one of the highest placed deceased stallion with progeny still competing) the importance of Sir Donnerhall’s dam line to the mix cannot be ignored. The Contenance line brings with it some very powerful movers in Freiherr, Farnese and Moltke I lightened by the Thoroughbred blood of Grundyman XX to ensure that quality also comes through.
Cadans’ own dam Tomathika contributes not only generations of dedicated KWPN sports horse breeding through her great grand-dam the dressage Keur mare B Sympathika plus a host of dressage talent through Elcaro and Ferro, but also the highly regarded qualities of the grey star Pion (sire of the internationally successful Hungarian dressage stallion Aktion) whose sire Abgar was a British born Thoroughbred who became one of the first imported improvers (lighteners and modernisers) of the Dutch Warmblood breed. Pion’s dam Irma La Douce was one of the most highly graded mares of her era which again confirms the strength in depth of the dressage talent in this pedigree.
Imported in 2012 he has made a big break into the competition world with scores upto 87% in the 5 year old and 6 year old young horse classes. In 2013 he was Northern Regional Champion in all four classes; Novice Open, Elementary Open, Novice Open Freestyle and Elementary Open Freestyle ridden by Lara Dyson and trained by Charlotte Dujardin, Rhett Bird and Becky Moody.

Sir Diamond won the bronze medal in the class for five-year-olds and with Secret Love and Simply Red, two more of his descendants, reached the final. The son Sa Coeur was the 2012 and 2013 World Champion for five- and six- year old dressage horses and then the top price at the PSI-Auction in Ankum.
Sir Donnerhall I has been popular as a sire of auction horses for years and he regularly delivers top horses selling for six-figure prices. He himself was second Reserve Champion at his licensing, in 2005 I-a main premium stallion, in 2006 Bundeschampion as well as Vice World Champion for five-year old dressage horses and has turned out to be a trademark stallion: He has already produced 85 licensed sons, including the NRW Champion Stallion and Vice Bundeschampion, Silbermond, the Southern German Champion Stallions Sir Nymphenburg I and Sir Schiwago as well as numerous premium stallions at all the German licensing sites. More than 60 daughters have been awarded the state premium. His daughter Assandra was nominated as Austria’s best three-year old mare.
