Be My Lady
Sire: Bretton Woods
Dam: Fuerst Lady by Fuerst Heinrich
Stunning Westphalian mare recently imported from Germany. Lady is an elegant mare that has a loving, kind, and sensible. She is extremely wiling and smart without being at all Mare-ish in her personality. She does not act overly sensitive and is not showing herself when in season. She is as talented and lovely as you could ever dream of. Lady is standing approx 16.1h and has an elegant build. She has three exceptional gaits and will be a top candidate for the FEI Young Horse classes as well as a horse for the future when thinking of something to take up to the FEI and Grand Prix levels. Lady enjoys hacking out all over our 70 acre equestrian property and is eager and willing to explore and go where directed. She loves people and the outdoors and is just a pleasure to be around. Her first horse show was the first weekend in August and already she is impressing the judges with her scores of 77.9 and 79.6% at Training level and winning her class.
Lady is by the incredible Stallion, Bretton Woods (Johnson x DeNiro x Romancier)
Bretton Woods is a large framed stallion but at the same time is equipped with great physical harmony. Under saddle, he is fascinating to watch as he demonstrates his excellent rideability and extraordinary quality of the three paces. In 2011, he won the Bronze Medal at the World Championships of five year old dressage horses. Prior to that, he confidently won the 50-day test of the KWPN as well as the VSN Trophy in the Netherlands, where he was awarded a 10.0 for his rideability. Ridden by Matthias Alexander Rath, Bretton Woods entered the international circuit in places such as Vidauban/FRA, Kapellen/BEL, Perl-Borg, at the traditional Wiesbaden Pfingstturnier and at the CHIO in Auchen where he achieved seven wins and several high placings in the Prix St Georges and Intermediare I. Since then he has reached Grand Prix level. As expected, his progeny are strong in conformation and movement. His foals often reach high prices at auctions and from his first foal crop, several of his young sons have been licensed, including champion and premium stallions.
His first foal crop of foals turned four in 2015 and were immediately successful in ridden and dressage horse classes. In 2015, his daughter Great Lady TC was Vice-Champion at the four year old Pavo-Cup in the Netherlands. Bretton Woods’ sire Johnson was the champions of his KWPN licensing in 2005 and participant in the finals of the World Championships of Dressage Horses in 2007. Internationally he is very successful in dressage with Hans Peter Minderhound. His dam Annabel, bred to Jazz, produced the licsensed stallion Chagall and has for years been one of the most highly ranked mare in the KWPN breeding. With the highly significant black sire DeNiro, who is currently in first place pf the WBSFSH ranking of all dressage sires and the highly appreciated Romancier, who is dam sire to Furst Romancier, the genetics of the dam side are highly secured.
Be My lady’s dam sire is the beautiful late stallion Fuerst Heinrich
For a stallion that lived so briefly and died so young, Furst Heinrich continues to exert an extraordinary and disproportionately positive influence on the breeding of successful dressage horses. His brief competition and breeding performance is impeccable. Awarded a Premium Stallion at the NRW Licensing in 2000 at 2 years old, he went on to be Champion of his performance test in Münster-Handorf with a score of 8.82 and was Main Premium winner in Oldenburg. Qualifying for the Bundeschampionship with a score of 8.5, he then competed successfully in his class and came 2nd in the Final. Finally, in 2003, as a five year old, he was crowned World Young Horse Dressage Champion with a score of 9.3.
In his short breeding career, he produced over 40 Licensed Stallions including many Premium Stallions, Champions and Reserve Champions. At the 2004 Oldenburger Licensing his first crop sons, Van the Man and First Forez, were awarded Champion and Reserve Champion respectively. n 2006 his son, Furstenball sold for the record price of 110,000EU at the Oldenburger Foal Auction. In 2007, the Licensed son, Froschkonig won the title of Oldenburger State Champion as a 3 year old.
The NRW Licensing in 2007 saw Reserve Champion awarded to a Fürst Heinrich son, and in 2008 Fürstenball was crowned Champion of the Oldenburger Licensing. He has also sired an impressive list of State Premium mares: Fantastica, Champion Mare of the 2005 Westphalen Elite Mare Show; Feh, 1d Premium Mare and Furstin, 1h Premium Mare at the 2005 Rheinland Elite Mare Show. two Fürst Heinrich daughters finished in the Brilliant Ring at the Oldenburger Elite Mare Show in Rastede; Herzfurstin was awarded 1d Premium at the 2006 Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar Elite Mare Show, and Famagusta, 1j at the Rheinland Mare Show. Our own Floria was awarded State Premium Mare in 2007 with a dressage score of 9.0. Most recently, Woodlander Farouche wowed the world when she won the World Breeding Championships in 2011 at five years old.
In 2010, five years after his death, his Dressage Breeding Value was 151, with reliability of 98%.
Be my lady is already working 2nd level movements and the flying changes will come very easily for this one. She scored 8.05 in her Mare Performance test with 8.5 on trot, 8.5 on canter and a 7 on walk. She will be a horse for the future and one of outstanding quality, rideability and character. You won’t want to miss out on this beautiful sweet girl.
